It'll be GREAT for anyone with mining hardware; it will mean that there's a lot less hashing power going on in pools so any mining equipment you have running is not longer having to share a pool or compete with other pools against ten million Chinese miners.

Probably going to increase the amount of time between blocks for a while until more people get their mining hardware on line.
