Currently in six figure hell
This is 10 times harder than five figs, because this kind of money is what a normie would think of as 'making it'

Does it get easier when I get to mid to upper figs?

Fuck.
How about the concept of cashing out some profits? If I am at 500k, taking out 100k is only 20 percent. That's not so bad.. Anyone have experience with that feel? Is it possible or does it feel like you want to kys?

But when the fuck do I take profits? Won't there always be the next profit to be had? I just want to buy a house (new zealand fag so at least 700k minimum up front). I have zero other goals besides that, I don't even want to retire early because I like my job.

So should 700k be a realsitic goal? I am at 260k now half boomer coin half iota.

Money gives you a sense of security and it provides options. You can start a business, have a family, buy a big garden or a piece of forest. You can help people you think deserve it. You can even fund or start a political party. Hedonism is the dumbest way to spend money.

Nothing crazy, just recovering my initial investment of 30k juuuuuuust in case so no matter what I can say to people "so fucking what I lost nothing". On top of that I've allocated a small fraction of crypto that no matter what will NOT be sold. It's about another 30k worth. Literally everything left (80k ADA and 16 ETH) has a cash out plan for THIS year. It has to go. Everybody knows all this shit has to go down eventually. I'm not selling to stay sold, the cycle will continue and a buy back will come after. I think this line of thinking is pretty dumb. Even if the entire market was 10x less volatile than it is today, you can still just leverage yourself 10x more with options and get the same returns with the same exact risk that you get today.

If you couldn't find a way to be (mostly) content before the money, the wife, the kids, the house or the car then no amount of digirs are going to get you out of that rut.

It's a mind set change or buy an apache helicopter to go for six stars and feel alive briefly.

Take a week or so away from tech and extra stresses, focus on hobby, spend some good quality time with the kiddo and practice Mindfulness. Really try to be present in the moment, smell the smells, hear the sounds, feel the feels. Treat your family to a nice dinner out. You deserve it.

Recently i've been reading some history book that tackled buddhaism. Im not into religion stuff, just to make it clear, but im in believing in yourself and shit like that. My understanding is that religion is circling around that, but im not for church and bible stuff.

Anyways, in the book there were few sentences about "people who got 1 million wants 2, people who have 2 real estate wants 3" you get the point, you cant ever satisfy human hunger.
So, it is what it is, either you follow up buddhaism and clear your head or just think about it and be happy with what you have.

But we are not here where we are right now in 2021 because of feeling happy with what we had... So maybe human misery and greed is the real driver here for big changes

Idk feeling so lost from time to time and yet im just 23

Just wanted to say before this thread dies, all the time when im CHASING something i feel sad. Because fuck it, made +300% gains, need more. Made it to 120 kg (~210 lbs) deadlift, want 140 kg. Shagged the girl i was dating, i can do better one, move on.

I think people really need to just change the perspective, without internet you would maybe never be in 5,6,7 figure hell. And thats something...

>Then again, you are in 6 fig hell and SAD because you are not in 7 fig one
Do you notice the pattern?
I mean, its all good to chase big things and experiences (if you are not spilling money on material stuff), but i would suggest getting into psychology or phylosophy or whatever gets you going.
Else you will continue feeling like you want more, getting into race parallel to the rat one, except you are playing with amount of money that can really change your life for the better if you use it wisely.

As someone with only a 5 figure bank account who really buys and needs nothing... It's not actually a good place to be mentally. People should have things to be responsible for, it gives them purpose and keeps them going forward.
If the things you are supposed to be responsible for (wife, kids, etc) are handled due to having a bankroll then you probably have no reason to move forward or do anything. Not sure a way around it though...

just taking 100k to improve your current life situation sounds like a decent idea though. you are cutting your future profits a bit shorter (although it might as well be losses in the future), but eventually you reach a point of diminishing returns where even more money hardly makes a difference anyway if you don't want to play with countries
