Depends if youre trading short or long time frame. Are you trying to ride the rising of the market as a whole? Then just buy and hold. Pullbacks are expected. Or are you trying to predict short term movements of a few days? Then use stop losses with predefined profit targets. You can do both at once, having a longer term bag you dont touch until you believe we are near the macro top, while trading shorter term movements for extra profits (or more likely losses since youre a noob)
