Panman, Alaskanon here. I'm eagerly awaiting spring for muh fishing, but I am planning to do some panning and noob-tier prospecting as well. There's a potentially legendary fishing hole I am hoping to hit, but it's got an interesting river feature nearby. The river is normally winding, fast, and relatively deep, but at one point it smacks into a cliff and splits into a huge deep back-eddy and a long straight rocky section that is wide and shallow. Instead of the normal 6-8 foot channel it has 3-4 at the deepest and is mostly 6-12 inches over large rocks. The river itself is fed by creeks and sloughs that have produced gold over the years. Would it be a safe assumption to think that both the back-eddy and the rocky/shallow straight stretch could act as a catch for upstream metals?

I know the big guys will melt down a lot of big bars, talking 5000 oz, and the bars that come in odd weights. Test it and then pay you. Several of the big dealers have more than one commercial face. So, if it is just a small amount they would probably melt your meme rounds/bars and pay you and then just recast in their own. Pawnshops/LCS probably wouldn't want to mess with them if its just a few but if you had enough oz they would probably drill test them or melt them and pay you. I dunno. I know r/silverbugs had some rounds made a few years ago. Personally I wouldn't mind having a few meme bars. I already have a few of the Egptian relic bars, 1 oz, 2 oz, and 3 oz, and being hand poured they actually still have a lot of detail. On the USD scale the first pump is a 3.5x going from 2006 ro 2012 (6 years)
On the Mark scale the first pump is roughly 25-50x in 2 years.

Just because the general pattern is the same doesn't mean we're that far along the inflation curve yet. Most likely we're still in the 1917-1918 phase just starting to take off.

Kek. Yeah, I don't think you will be selling it to any high end places. Doubt Rick from pawn stars would even take it. However, there are a bunch of We Buy Gold places around. Also, im in TN and there are more than a few pawn shops that might buy it. Theres one not far from me that has a big sign saying they sell guns and a confederate flag in the window. It's right down the street from a biker bar with confederate flags, 3%, and Don't Tread on Me flags hanging out front. Im pretty sure both are owned by the same guys. I just realised that a 100x+ for physical silver is actually genuine. The only reason Silver didnt hold above its 1980 ATH is because they changed the rules, and implemented new price suppression mechanisms. If we do manage to break free from the COMEX and find true price discovery, it would most likely be in EXCESS of the 1980's inflation adjusted high.

Is there any chance the eastern world(china/russia) could become the new market discovery point? do they have a futures exchange in the works? it would make perfect sense, especially for china.

In other news I have been looking through the Blue Lagoon SEDAR reports of late. Ragna Vig exercised options for an extra 1M shares after buying back quite a bit over the last week.
