the 10 billion tokens have already dropped, they're all just vested to early adopters/not bought yet. 2.5B is already staked in the protocol, so that leaves only 75% of it free to be bought and sold until they undelegate it from the protocol and after it gets unvested.

I have just under a 1300 stack, I keep hearing about others delegating. Is it worth it with so little? Can someone explain the benefit between delegating at high and low price points? How gas works? indexers? Hoping to hear more personalized advice than this "How to" pic that has been floating around. I am looking to hold pretty much forever, years really.

If I need more, then I will wait until my NU breaks even again, then convert. I have a feeling GRT is going to be a bigger project than people realize. The only problem is I don't have a lot of money to throw at it right now, only making ~18 an hour and helping my father keep his house, lost his job last year so I dont want to risk what I cant afford to lose.

the biggest advantage of delegating is it gives you depleted uranium hands. once you delegate, funds are gone for a minimum of 28 days. that means delegators are completely unbothered by the 1 minute charts that make others rope.

if you're not looking to swing, just delegate your tokens and forget. I have a mere 4k stack and I earn about 300 GRT a month by doing nothing. Yes there are gas fees.

sorry i forgot, there are multiple calculators floating around to help you pick a good indexer. You can even meet some of them on the discord. The only negative is that they choose when to pay you rather arbitrarily, except they're forced to every 28 epochs (for now, 1 epoch is slightly over 24hrs). Your coins aren't doing anything sitting in a wallet or exchange, if you really believe in the project (I do) then just park them and come back in 5 years. Hope this helped bro

Thank you both, any info is always helpful so I really appreciate it. Any Advice on finding a trustworthy or good indexer? Don't want to get juked by a pajeet, if they even exist when it comes to indexers. I guess really I am just asking for tools than being spoon fed, I still want to learn and understand exactly what I'm doing, and don't want to come across as a complete bother either.

Delegator rewards by Indexers:

https://reward.suntzu.me/
https://the-graph-rewards.com/

I am still not sure how to choose an indexer though. I've heard some can rugpull you and decide to keep all the rewards. Heard p2p and proto are reliable.

its ok i got spoonfed too but that was in december. It feels weird watching GRT hit $1 and all these newfrens swarmed in. I got in at .3

https://reward.suntzu.me/

https://ryabina.medium.com/the-graph-protocol-how-to-calculate-your-rewards-for-delegation-654724936581

these two are the best calculators I've seen.If you're really not sure, p2p is the safest bet. Smallish returns but they pay often and consistently, idk how they arent getting juiced by gas fees. indexers exist in a free market with very little regulation. They're allowed to change rewards rates once every 28 epochs or so, and sometimes people do get finessed by pajeets. The network does reserve the right to slash indexer rewards/totals for "malicious behavior" but the ecosystem is so new I doubt that has occurred aside from someone getting splashed on by too-good-to-be-true rewards scams. Overall, just don't be retarded, and if you can find a potential delegator on the discord, there's nothing wrong with reaching out. The community is overall pretty nice and helpful.

When some other newfag has these questions, make sure you walk them through it

you do realize as a currency speculator the GRT dev team is currently planning a course of action to remove you from the community.

You see they are not huge fans of you dumb racist fat neck beard niggers constantly doubling and halving the price while they operate their network.

To invest in this token is equivalent to driving into oncoming traffic. Normally you lose your money. But imagine having an indian death squad going door to door personally executing you and releasing billions of hurty grties into the already over priced market.

He said that it was exploding in sats. On the daily it's been bleeding. I don't really care about the spike since the current trend is bearish for GRT/BTC. I took profits around the peak already, but I'm looking at the next few weeks trying to figure out what to do with the rest of my position. Anything that bleeds sats for a significant period of time in crypto is becoming to much of a risk to hold, especially if it did a 3x prior to the start of the bleed. Still room for a push to $3, but plenty of chances to swing on the way up and to take profits. Wasn't fud'ing just making conversation.
