Never heard of BAT?
BAT is short for Basic Attention Token; it is a digital advertising token which is built on the Ethereum blockchain. In short, it is the currency of the Brave browser. Brave is a security browser focused on privacy, decentralization, and bringing the ideals of Web 3.0 to the internet browsing/advertising sector. It was developed by the co-founder and former CEO of Mozilla Firefox and creator of the JavaScript programming language.

Yes anon, if you are new to brave browser you must opt in to ads then switch to 5x ads per hour and turn off auto contribute. If you wish to withdraw you must have accumilated 25 BAT, currently you can only withdraw to uphold or gemini if you're a creator but with DEX on its way in 2.0 you can sit comfy without having to KYC and go onto a shit exchange.

fuck forgot to answer your question, it's relatively easy to withdraw right now and get USD all you need to do is become verified on uphold and transfer it after 25 BAT is accumulated. Although i suggest just waiting until DEX because it will be easier then and will be a lot higher by then.

Can't wait for the DEX, and I imagine probably 25% of Brave users hold some sort of crypto. If the DEX is integrated well into the browser, eliminating third-party apps will be incredibly desirable. I hate putting in my APIs into things, waiting for blockfolio to update (7 days!). It's going to change everything, for me and for many.
