actually, I'm still in the process of doing my own research. I hold ADA and was checking for projects that will use Cardano.This is how I've learned about singularityNET. As far as I understand, they offer a marketplace for AIs. Their goal is to have AIs communicate with AIs which in turn communicate with AIs etc. An example I've came across: imagine you have a video and you want to redub it into some other language. Let's say there is no AI capable of performing this task in one go. Instead you could use some AI capable of doing speech to text. Then this AI would call another AI that could do translations and then this one would call another AI that could do text to speech.
As far as data goes for training those AIs, here comes the partnership with OCEAN into play.

Maybe I'm wrong on this. But my gut (work as a data scientist) is that unless they create standardised packages of data with scripts on how to get it, it will be too sparse to be useful & I think that a lot of firms who ahve this unique data, tech companies, cc firms etc, will make it as hard as possible to collect it.

Plus to be useful, you really need scale. Modern ML techniques require shitloads of data, so need to get to a certain scale before it's of use
