all right all right it wasn't a joke about electioneering. He joked as an aside to his TA that he needed to be hired to count the votes for the election due to his ability to force the students to participate in class discussions... like he's also be good at forcing certain people to vote, and that the people who are best at motivating activity should also be the ones to count the votes.
Then,when asked if he thinks the election will take place, says with a giant grin, that the election will 100% take place.
