29884760 No.29884760 [Reply] [Original]

In 2017, everyone was freaking out about BTC fees. Would NANO replace it? ZEC?
In the end, BCH came close, and shook the market hard. But BTC came out stronger than ever.

In 2021, everyone is freaking out about ETH fees. Will ADA replace it? AVAX? SOL?
In the end, some coin (probably BSC) will come too close to flipping ETH. That coin is doomed. ETH will pump right up to 0.09 BTC after the challenge.

Don't stress out about comparing AVAX, ADA, SOL, DOT, and BSC. Stop looking for the next Bitcoin Cash and just buy the real thing.

>he thinks that a bunch of turkroaches can flip ETH

Honestly, it's just impossible. That's just not how the world works. The world will not depend on Turkey for anything important, it just won't.

Flipping ETH would cause a catastrophic bear market, and no smart contract platform would ever be as valuable as ETH again. I'm not saying ETH is unflippable, but if you want to take market share, it needs to be slow. Taking it too quickly will just take you down with it.

So? He's complaining about 5 cents, now Ethereum is causing orders of magnitude higher fees than that and OP is using this as a comparable case of why since BTC didn't get flipped, neither will ETH. Which is dumb.

In 2017, BTC hit fees comparable to ETH in 2021. It survived just fine. Nobody even cares about BTC fees anymore. ETH is the next best target, and that will fail too.

Bitcoin and Ethereum are fundamentally different. Bitcoin is not built around DeFi and it is largely only used as a store of wealth. For Ethereum to function as intended in the future, it would have to scale. We have no news. Cardano can run virtual machines and has more sound code. It’s also a hard capped token, which means Bitcoin is not safe either. Cardano further addressed bitcoins environmental impact — which is huge when most of the worlds largest economies are pushing towards restrictions on emissions.

The fud is that it's holders are söy-guzzlers with an inferiority complex.
Most ADA holders are the same idiots that fell for XRP. Guess what happens next?

You don't understand the consequences of flipping ETH too quickly. You don't get to be the new ETH. Instead you just crash crypto, and nobody gets to be the new ETH. If anything flips ETH, it will itself be flipped, and again and again ad infinum.

It's more like saying "Tesla won't replace even 10% of cars on the road by the end of the year"

Your expectations are unrealistic, and your fundamentals are incredibly weak. None of these 'contender' networks have come anything close to ETH's 2018 volume. 2021 volume? Forget about it. Are they actually better? Nobody knows because they haven't had a chance to show it yet. Like investing in hyperloops.

I agree. The same goes for Charles Hoskinson and Michael Saylor.

Normies are literal cattle and need to be constantly told what to think. If they go without instruction for too long, they will look for a new master. They will never think for themselves, and if they tried, they would dislike it.
