The risk is either if GME moons big and I miss out on the major upside, or if GME dumps by more than the option premium I eat the difference. So basically it's a bet that GME will close above $76 on Friday. Definite risk of dumping back to $45, but GME is so out of whack the inevitable drawdown won't happen all at once. A premium of $24/share vs share price of $100 on a weekly option seems tasty.

Covered calls are a bad bet right now. With the market dumping last week, anything can happen. Stocks can both rebound sharply or dump further. I'm not selling any options on my stocks like I usually do for this reason. GME is worse due to the unpredictability. I'd wait for things to settle down before I start selling options again. Are we still bullish longterm on nio? I've been holding nio since August at 9 average. I have 15k in it.. My plan was to hold at least a year to avoid short term gains tax. But its been slumping recently and I can't tell if the ev hype is over for good or just in a cool down period rn.

It's an AI data mining company growth play. Had lots of downward price pressure the last week with lockout expiry but has held at the 22-24 range surprisingly well. Revenue growth projections are very high, they reinvest aggressively like other tech stocks with little goal of turning a profit any time soon. You're underestimating people's ability to find value in the most retarded things and to pay for them, especially with surplus.
