I'm french and rap is huge here, I was heavy into music a few years back and I've decided to dip my toes back in, I downloaded fl studio a month ago. If I can shit out a couple instrumentals a week I'm sure I can make some petty cash to reinvest

>> No.29828978

>>29828585
Thats exactly what I did, though I had lots of years of experience before I got my lazy ass to do something about it and it eventually worked, it was petty cash at first, but you have to start somewhere

>>29828978
Yeah whereas my experience comes from playing in a band so I know the basics of music but not how to use the softwares yet. I'm at the not-so-fun part but when I get the hang of it I know I'll have a blast and maybe make some money. Always better than working at McDonald's anyway

>Stealing
trading is basically about offloading your bags onto people who get in late. That's literally just stealing with extra steps. At least op is providing a service.

Absolutely. A cloud has liften from eyes after not having to wake early every morning to go wage. I wake when I want. I make most music at night, so I sleep in often. Extremely comfy

Yeah the beginning is always a steep learning curve until you hit that mid area where you are not shit but not great either. Im still learning 15+ years in, but the technical aspect of music production is so essential to master and its very difficult

Absolutely.
Im a filthy wagie so my income isnt scalable and is hardcapped by time.

>Flipping camera gear
I lurk gumtree and photog fb groups and always find gearfags willing to part with their money.

>DiveMastering
I love diving, so I show tourists around local spots, doesnt feel like a job since Im passionate about it, so the income feels easy. Will probably be my “occupation" once I make it.

>Running videography courses.
Same as above, teach people how to use a go pro for nice underwater videos for $250 per person. Have an upsell of strong underwater light set ups for $400 that I get from aliexpress.

Most of these I can shoehorn into a weekend. But I am looking for more time efficient alternatives

Seriously considering e-commerce, but not quite informed on the subject yet. Anyone tried dropshipping before? How'd it go?

Any PR or marketing?
How do you target your audience?
How often do you interact with your community?
Do you do hired jobs?
What software do you use to create the songs?
Which hardware components do you use and What would you recommend for beginners and even ppl that have no musical background?
How do you monetize ? Only by placing adds?
Do you interact with other artists and do you do features?
THX fren, ygmi!

My hobby is making games. How I can monetize it?

>> No.29832113

>>29831544
Gonna try to summarize but I essentially invested a few thousands into ad placements only targeted men 15-30 with interests in music and rapping and that started the organic growth, so I dont do much other than some collaborations with other channels. Im expanding onto instagram and Facebook soon, maybe TikTok when I get the studio up and running. Monetization is ads before video and next to video, never during.

Just a midi-controller, monitors and a drum machine and some minor stuff. I use FL Studio because thats what I have been using since I found it on my grandma's computer. I invest maybe 500 dollars a month into renting software and licenses, thats all my costs. My next plan is to start a company and target local young people who can sing but cant afford studio time. Maybe launch some merch soon.

To beginners, you dont need much hardware, because you will need to get familiar with the audio station software and all the componenets inside it + all the software you need to install on top of that.

i make music too but hate the rap community with a passion, literal music for retards who just worship money and pussy. I got rich off crypto and just make music as a hobby now. not hating on your hussle i think its smart becuase almost everyone wants to be a rapper. i legit just enjoy sitting at my computer and making music i guess. i dont even care if people want it or not. im suprised they even have money to give you for instrumentals. gl anon godspeed for dealing with those faggots.

>> No.29832488

>>29832144
Well its just pure ad-revenue at this point, so they dont pay anything but attention. I hope that by expanding into new channels I can open new streams of income, but yeah, I have no identification with the community, I just sell the shovel. What kind of music do you make? And did you buy a nice rig with some a that crypto money?
