As non American, let me get this straight. There is something I might be missing about stimulus checks: it’s just one/two time 1400 usd payments to EACH and EVERY burger? How exactly this is gonna help? The average rent is burgerstan is more than that, and I assume less than half of population doesn’t even need this check.
AND you’re doing it with reserve currency of the world finance? AND you’re injecting hundreds of billions into your own companies? AND now you’re removing the data for total supply of the said reserve currency?
Am I missing something, or is BTC going to 200k EOY?

It has nothing to do with sound economics. $2k checks was a 2020 election campaign meme, and since Trump delivered $600, Biden is now obliged to at least cover the difference so that when 2022 comes along and we're still locked down, people believe Biden when he starts pushing another stimulus before the midterms.
