Nah, XMR is its own thing. Everything else moves more or less in concert with BTC because it's all just driven by the same cryptocurrency hype bubble (of which Bitcoin is obviously the spearhead). XMR has a completely separate base of buyers and sellers who don't really give a shit about the "crypto space".
