Hi Guys
I sold some crypto on bitpanda 1 month ago. They accidently transferred the money twice. First they said that I don't have anything to do with it and they are in contact with my bank. Today they told me i should transfer it back. I think they couldn't work it out with my bank? Its not that much, just 1.5k. What will happen if I just don't give it back? Can they sue me? Bitpanda and my bank and me are Austrian. Picture because I got double the money lol

Literally never ever transfer yourself in these sort of situations. The company needs to deal with both banks involved, never the end customer.

I'd suggest never using their services again, as asking the end-user to unfuck their mistake is incredibly scummy and not a good outlook.

Can and will. Lots of precedent of money deposited accidentally being not rightfully yours. For example this recent one
