No, it will be so much worse. The original Great Depression was only escaped from due to a war. With nukes being a thing, it is impossible for a war to dig us out. Even if it did, modern military hardware is nigh impossible to actually produce to such a degree where it can get people into factories. Most manufacturing plants have very few workers and require employees to have college diplomas at the bare minimum. This isn't even accounting for hyperinflation.
