I don't think the run is really over for stocks or crypto. Once people realise the implications of this situation inflation-wise they are going to dump even more fiat into whatever assets seems to be mooning. There's a megapump left before it all hits the dirt. But no one knows when this can happen. I'd say if you made money in tech stocks/memecoins that's great! Use that to buy Ag/Au/Pt/Pd/food/land while you still can. Convert your funny-money into real hard assets. That's what ((they)) are doing anyway, why not cop their strat?

No, fuck them. They dug their own grave, now they can call it a bed.
I'll always remind them they should have stacked instead of acting like if all this clown economy was anything more than a musical chairs of wealth transfert producing nothing but misery in the end.
Especially the butcorn maxis who acted as it is was totally logical to have infinite growth until the end of times. Like if new money coming in to feed the ponzi wasn't simply more greedy normies, but instead some sort of cosmic USD generator made by a divinity of wealth. Who can be this deluded? This is the way, but you and me very well know only a tiny tiny fraction of bagholders will do this. They will be blinded by their greedy or refuse to acknowledge they have to cash out at a loss and will literally lose everything, either in a crash downward or upward.

That said i salute the frens who indeed were smart enough to cash out the bubble at the top and recognize hard assets were the way to protect their new found wealth. Those won the jackpot.

I've been researching a lot of discussion regarding the best assets for inflation hedges. Obviously stonks will go up in nominal terms, but like you pointed out, in real terms they may not perform too hot because of real life issues. Everyone here would agree precious metals are a safe haven. While I'm not one to say "crypto is a store of value" by any means (it isn't), I am curious how it will perform in a high inflation scenario. It's a completely unique asset class, and probably wouldn't get hit as hard by inflation due to the fact that operating costs aren't really an issue. As long as confidence is maintained in the system, my guess is that crypto would probably perform a little worse than usual in real terms, but still outpace every other asset class.

The real issue of course is when confidence is lost and inflation becomes hyperinflation, and people are sucking cock for a mercury dime. But I don't think the US will be there quite yet.

Since silver is also on that chart, do you think it will have a similarly weak performance in the 2020s or is there something to the hype being built around it? I'm not totally convinced it will explode.

I wouldn't bet on it, I think they can keep the musical chairs going on quite a bit longer. CPI inflation will definitely start creeping up, we could hit double digits in a year or two, but at what point that becomes true psychological hyperinflation is a lot harder to predict.

This data is pretty worthless man. It's pretty much just 1950s and 1970s which is when platinum say its first major industrial uses. You probably get better returns with base metals and grains (the commodity bar). The problem is that most of that data was likely under bretton woods, which meant that gold and silver were price fixed or illegal to own. Also real estate was bought with 8% mortgages before those inflationary events. Different today with 30 years at 3.5 or something ridiculous

No it was the Treasury flash crash today
I have been watching T Bond futures autistically since the MOVE spike. I expected to not really see vol which would push a lot of money into another push in equities and btc.
But with what happened today, I don't think there is national/international confidence in TBonds which is the same thing as not having national/internaitonal confidence in dollars.
This came a day after Powell insisted that money printing doesn't cause inflation.
I changed my mind because I'm only trying to play mass psychology with a small portion of my portfolio. If they're dumping bonds, I have to assume they have no faith in the dollar anymore. And by "dumping" I mean volatile changes down in their selling like we had today.
The flash crash today will be studied 20 years from now

Hypothetically, if someone were to want to stack silver in small amounts ($500) on a monthly basis, and buy in cash without any record of purchase, what's the best way to buy? This hypothetical person wants to hypothetically hypothecate silver under the table without Mr. IRS/ any institutional power knowing. Craigslist? Referral/ word of mouth? I really wouldn't be surprised if there's a decent underground of stackers willing to buy/sell in PMs. Any advice?

Posting half my stack that's on the way. For those of you using credit cards for whatever reason, check to see if you can select online purchases for your 3% cash back. BOA lets me change categories once a month, but it's gonna be stuck on this for a while until I've got 100oz at least. This option knocks 3/4s of that 4% credit card premium off the top, so you're paying 1% instead of 4%.

That's the 5 minute chart of today (yesterday's) Treasury bond futures. This is the 30 year bond, but it exists on every maturity. On this maturity that spike alone was a "couple times a year" move over the course of a day. It happened DURING a 1-3 times in a year day. A -1% move in 5 minutes on T bonds (that isn't a gap up/down) DOESN'T HAPPEN

No the auction placed, but after it was over and the different kinds of bids got to the market, it was the worst data in a long time. Shit demand from foreigners which is the important part. Then the secondary market (futures) dumped because they know what that means. I'm sure someone on youtube that understands this will make a vid soon. For SHTF currency, it'd be convenient to have silver in a few "large bills" for buying land, generational resources, and expert labor, but I strongly advocate having the bulk of your wealth in 1oz or smaller.

Its only a copypasta though i Think.
Dear Vincent

I have copied our CFO, Rick Low, on my response

At this point, we have a silver/copper Offtake Agreement in place with Ocean Partners UK Ltd, and we intend to fulfill it as quickly as possible, to ensure the sales commitments are met, and the revenue generation we have been working so hard to accomplish, commences.

As you are aware, many things need to happen, especially in generating free cash flow, before we can start talking about dividends, and especially dividends in silver

We have issued silver convertible warrants, and debentures convertible into silver, over the past couple of years, and this may be the time to consider some other type of silver financing.

In the past we have discussed creating our own conversion of the concentrate into silver instead of selling the silver concentrate to others to process. While the two companies who professed to be able to do it could not deliver, we are currently going through the process with a third company, which suggests they are making good progress towards perfecting their process to give us our own silver from concentrate, as well as copper.

We should have better indications in about four months to see if they can in fact deliver, and thus get much higher values, and physical silver, to the Company

At that time we will revisit the issue

Best regards

Graeme O'Neill

CEO seemed based, owns a significant amt of the company, so does Sprott and Sprott Asset Mgmt.
I feel like I should definitely get more mining CEOs on soon. Any ideas anons? I just got Keith Anderson CEO of Silver Sand's contact info. Is that a good company? Chris Marcus recomended them so I trust him

Not him but I’m going to start buying gold at 50, swap a little silver over at 30, but waiting for something closer to 8 or 10 before trading in mass amounts of silver for gold.

I'd love to see you get an interview with the Bayhorse CEO. The one thing that that company lacks is publicity. People never believe you when you tell them how good it is because there aren't any recent interviews nor is there much of an online "presence."

Based RWMM got my gram of Rhodium from them. See I was a young poor stacklet when Cohen mint offered them 1 gram Rhodiums. Then I did a search when I had money and lo and behold RWMM. I took a chance and they delivered. Been a customer for 3 years now. I like that they don't just sell metals they give the reason why the metal is important. Watch out for that Tellerium breath.

I agree. I plan on forking over another $1k or so into BTC/BCH/ETH and maybe LTC when it dips some more. There will be one last "hurrah" into this get-rich-quick scheme. I think you should swap your profits into XMR and some into PMs.

more so than you could imagine. I dont have the ability to articulate some of the thought processes that generated comments on that online discussion tonight.

heres one
>can you move the whole mine over to the other side of the mountain or maybe underwater in the lake so we dont have to look at it, its very bad for our sky line and we cant have that here"

This was a real comment left tonight.

I would have gone with Proverbs 12:10A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.

11He that tilleth his land shall be satisfied with bread: but he that followeth vain persons is void of understanding.

12The wicked desireth the net of evil men: but the root of the righteous yieldeth fruit.

13The wicked is snared by the transgression of his lips: but the just shall come out of trouble.

14A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth: and the recompence of a man's hands shall be rendered unto him.

15The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise.

16A fool's wrath is presently known: but a prudent man covereth shame.
