While you focus on price, you ignore the battle happening. Today was not a malfunction, it was not an accident. It was an intentional attack on the network, followed by a DDOS attack on the wallet (again).

Avax has been having similar issues recently, including multiple ddos attacks and their network being forcibly halted last week.

This kind of mollycoddling people only encourages people to leverage long using fusd, as you're giving some impression of 'no worries, it's risk free'. If you stopped telling people they can basically get risk free leverage, you'd stop having so much of an issue with the fusd-usdt peg.. expectation theory. Also, it's hardly risk free, they are going to get totally rekt when there's a supply-side crisis and everyone scrambles to repay their debt.

Anyone that's minted fusd and bought ftm with it for a premium... you're taking on a pretty big risk, and it shouldn't be treated as a 'no worries' issue at all. If someone with all the fusd decides they want $10 for it, that's what you'll have to pay for it. I'd think twice before doing it.
