You're repeating literal propaganda. The government decided to subsidize fuel in an area and then corrupt officials sold rights to using that subsidized fuel for mining.
It's not about trust but incentives. Bitcoin gives incentive for green energy infrastructure. Corrupt governments subsidizing dirty fuel is a completely separate issue that would exist whether Bitcoin exists or not.
