Can someone help me clarify something about pairings.

For ex if my objective is to buy alts, in that case it wouldnt matter at what price I buy the bitcoin needed to buy the alts right (for ex btc at 3200 instead of 2800)? Since the alts have a current value in dollars?

if you immediately buy and convert the BTC into the alt, then it shouldn't matter. you'll just be buying the alt for your USD amount minus some fees. if that's what your goal is.

Thanks anon, i was having trouble given that alts are sold against btc value.

All those conversion between dollars > btc > alts and back around are a pain in the ass, since if btc goes down your alts lose value too since the convert value is gonna be against btc, so even if your alt goes up and if btc goes down you didnt win in the end.
