>bond yields go up due to high expectation of inflation, people panic out of the market and buy crypto as a reserve asset to hedge against inflation
>Fed does yield curve control, bonds yields go down, all that new liquidity goes into crypto

Crypto cannot lose. Buy more crypto faggot

>people dumping bonds to have USD signals inflation
christ bro learn the basics before your post
bond yields going up = bonds value going down
that means people are selling bonds for cash. This is deflationary because bonds are debt and when debt is repaid money supply is lowered

That isn't what happening, both crypto and stocks are inflations hedges
In the next few months the correlation will hold

This board really is full of retards... bond yields are going up because of rising inflation expectations, just look at commodity prices and the Feds published data on inflation

Selling bonds doesn't mean they are "repaid," they just change hands. The money supply depends on the Fed tightening schedule - continue buying or stop? This depends on inflation expectations

>> No.29695012

>>29694842
so you are saying that people are buying dollars because they think inflation is going up
genius... why are bonds so hard to understand for crypto kiddies?

what's your thesis, this an inflationary or deflationary bust. or bull continues?
sitting in cash for a while till this blows over

>> No.29695386

>>29695012
they're selling bonds because they think inflation is going up, which is why 10yr yields are up
you don't know where they're putting that money after selling bonds, they're not holding cash, nobody here said that

cmon now...

>> No.29697069

>>29696651
didn't say they were buying btc retard, but they're obviously selling bonds and will invest in newly issues debt at higher yields or equities
you know deflation benefits creditors right? that means bondholders

>> No.29697337

>>29695267
bull will continue, the question is do we see a massive flush due to bond yields rising so quickly
legacy markets are weak and rising bond yields makes them weaker

>> No.29697394

>>29696651
I don't think banks are fomo-ing in yet but I would be surprised if people weren't putting their private wealth in much more than they were a week ago. Crypto is a proven inflation/instability hedge, it can't be controlled by governments as long as there is an off ramp somewhere in the world and it trades at a premium in countries with hyperinflating currencies. Tons of hedge fund dudes hold shit tons of Bitcoin privately but they can't buy it through their fund because of the volatility. They will buy more.

>if people were expecting inflation why would they be buying dollars?

because
a) they'll need more cash to buy more goods
and
b) bonds are a horrible investment during inflation
