Here's what I do, I mine /biz/ for sentiment and check the charts. If the coin is mega popular on /biz/ I blacklist it, if the price (always in sats) is low or has been moving sideways for a while, I accumulate. How much I accumulate is related to how much the sentiment is increasing on /biz/ relative to the price. In practice, this looks like me buying a bunch of dead shitcoins and waiting until they pop.

I totally agree with this. Also if everyone were trading on actual fundamentals alone all these coins would be worth very very little. The only reason anything moons is irrational exuberance in speculating the price. The coins that really take off (for a little while anyway) are the ones where no one really understands what it does or how it works but it sounds good.
