Not exactly, but sort of. For experienced traders, it’s not wise to keep funds in there because it’s not yours and they can pull it, block it, or shut down anytime and there go your funds. However, for newfags it’s a great place to start and learn, imagine it like the Robinhood of crypto trading. Piece of shit if you want to actually want to get stuff done but harmless to newfags who just want to experiment in buying and holding. If they are really trying for an IPO, my guess is they’ll be around for a while, so they can’t exactly rugpull you, but they can surely fuck with your money

coinbase is the least suspicious/most safe but worst when it comes to fees and available crypto. oh, and they definitely work with the government to make sure you pay your taxes.
binance is incredibly suspicious and flat out dangerous to the crypto, but the most convenient.
