Buying short dated calls on ETFs right before the major holdings in their portfolio have their earnings calls is a massive gamble. If you want to play ETFs with calls its better to buy LEAPs if you think it's a well managed fund. I'm holding LEAPs on ARKF that expire in january 2023 and intend on holding them to expiry.

That being said, selling the calls right after the post-earnings dip is probably bad as well since you've got 3 weeks still for them to recover a bit.

If you do decide to sell, and want to play ARKF again with calls, buy LEAPs and just consider the money gone until you check your position again in 2 years.

Well as bonds crash in price, newly issued ones will have a higher yield. So the ideal play is you grab a high paying bond at auction, then zero interest rates come around (or the Fed buys everyone's bonds), then your not-zero-yield bond is bid up in value.

The opposite, bogged play is that you buy a bond with basically no coupon, then everyone sells out of their bonds, driving up the yields in the market and making newly issued bonds cuck your old and busted one in terms of payoff.

Then you need to account for inflation...

listen friend, everyone in this thread might seem like they have it "figured out" and make 90% successful trades, but the reality is almost all advice here is shit and even the good advice has a barely-passing success rate. people simply can't predict the future.
it's best not to look at the market like a source of 10x profits in one day, because this is extremely rare and random. short-term plays like this are functionally equivalent to going all in on red at roulette.

as for advice, $200 isn't going to be enough to change your life. park it in an ETF of your choosing and watch it steadily outpace inflation, add to it as much as you can (with extra income) and watch it grow over many many years. but you won't turn a staple into a lear jet.

dont sweat it. you made a good move and will profit. basically just wait until the squozzles stop squozzing. sell a put and use it to buy back the shares you sold for a price you are comfortable with. then go back to selling those covered calls.

Be ready to hold this for 5+ years. AQB isn't a get rich quick kind of stock. I sorta regret putting 400$ into it because I could have put that money into GME when it was 40$ instead. FYI, I bought it at around 9.40 after their second offering tanked it a bit I was considering buying it at 11+ a few days before too.

It’s a psychological advantage. Ramsey talks about it all the time. You get momentum when it’s small debts paid down, which you can keep. It’s just like working out. If I sent you to the gym and you were lifting your max every day for a week you would quit. It’s too much of a psychological burden to carry. If you had small progressive goals it’s easier to keep going
