I think he means BTC VS XRP. As in does BTC function better as a store of value? Probably not. Will BTC become an environmental issue? Already is. Are large countries willing to ban crypto not associated with banks? India already is. Does BTC have a nice clear growth curve potential? Yes, as do many Ponzi schemes.

Harsh but, Tesla moving money into BTC is simply a win/win against US hidden real inflation as well as a chance to buy an asset during the upswing. But ultimately, if BTC is used as a store of value, many coins can function in that manner including XRP. If BTC is being used because of it's appreciation, many coins are presently appreciating faster then BTC, including XRP.

Is BTC fast or cheap? Who cares. If BTC maintains and grows in value, it will still likely become tokenized and traded over faster cheaper exchanges more so then used wallet to wallet like the old days. Newer users will probably use the exchanges like banks and some may not even know what a wallet is. Because of that, BTC speed or associated trading costs are meaningless in the long run.

But aside from brand name value, what long term advantage does BTC have? That's the trillion dollar question. Will 99% of crypto die off like the dotcom boom? Probably. Will BTC become the next myspace a decade down the road? You tell me.
