Download Coinbase wallet, it’s a different app than Coinbase. Buy eth in Coinbase and send it to the new Coinbase wallet. Then use uniswap and connect it to the Coinbase wallet. Swap eth for fantom. If you hit max amount it will give you an error because you need to pay eth gas fees so just keep lowering the amount little by little until it goes through. Right now gas fees are atrocious so you will probably pay between $30-$90 for the transaction.

This might sound a bit complicated but it’s actually quite easy when you do it.
