Here's what I do:
>buy a ham
>use soldering iron to burn seed phrase on to ham
>put ham in freezer

If I die, Jews won't be interested in the crypto ham as not kosher so will ignore it. My brother loves ham, so hopefully he will inherit the morbid crypto ham from freezer as a shame to waste it, see seed on it and inherit my crypto and a ham too.

You dont need a long crazy passphrase.

Just a small simple passphrase is enough to protect your seed, some kind of "nickname word" thats not in the dictionary, some kind of non-word you've used in your life for whatever reason, that doesn't make sense. 6 characters is enough for this random non-word. It will give you plenty of time to secure your funds if your seed is some how stolen. You know, like some kind of nickname you've had, or someone in your family has had, or some non-word you've had carry on in your family for whatever reason.

Having an elaborate passphrase with all kinds of different random characters thats 20+ characters long is more likely to fuck you up by you misplacing it/forgetting it.

Use the name/color/object/time method you can do multiples of them

Both are examples of 15+ character passwords that have capitals in them that are basically random (name them after objects you have seen that day that are peculiar to your routine) and are easy to remember. XKCD did a comic about this years ago and it still holds true
