I can have very complex constructed images in the "background" of my mind's eye. It's like my imagination has its own imagination that I can only access like seeing it through the blinds. But when I try to imagine things in the foreground conscious and clear, they are never stable unless they are very powerful images. It takes intense focus for me to hold images in my mind's eye. when you read, do you read each and every word aloud, too? do you know how slow it would be to read that way? when you do math, do you meticulously do every operation, one at a time, in order, and "see" the numbers moving around as if you did it thoroughly on paper? it would be painfully slow to do math in your head that way.

I can get a 6 with my eyes open, and my inner monologue is always going brrrrrr.
Over the years its turned into me actually talking to myself out loud all the time, due to the persistent pressure of my inner monologue.
I can also play an Instrument and draw well, I'm not sure if these things have boosted my schizo habits over time.
