we need a /biz/k/ thread - if you've ever had any inclination of hope that you would make it, and you value your life, a firearm should have been the first thing you purchase when you turn 18.

Maybe it's because I'm black and I've been aware of violence my whole life (and how it can happen to you) that has always made me vigilant. I see a lot of people with 100k+ in assets (my bosses included) who do not shoot, let alone have a gun.

The first thing you should do with your first round of gainz is buy a Glock 19. I know a lot of you guys are white/asian, sit behind a computer all day and get your money through inheritance and crypto. Some of us however, get money every day by interacting with the public, and that includes all the negative aspects of the public.

glock and a 9mm carbine. plenty of great ones on the market.

Advantages:

>You have one round to handle all your needs and it is cheap enough to actually train with. (No gun is a good gun in untrained hands)

>can buy during ammo dips and stockpile in the thousands.

>easy to transport sizeable quantities of ammunition with little space consumption

>carbine will handle all the realistic ranges you need to keep yourself safe

>cartel miguel and tyrone cannot afford plate carriers.

Jews don't want you to know this but plate tech sucks. It's too expensive to fully implement and there aren't any on the market that can take repeated shots to the chest and allow the person wearing it to shrug it off like nothing happened. You do not need rifle rounds to defend yourself.

more importantly, if you're ever in a situation where you feel like you need to protect yourself from men wearing expensive plate carriers then you're already fucked and you should either surrender or run, you should not try to john wick your way out of that situation.


Don't fall for the big gun meme or the gun collector meme. The bullet that saves your life might be shot by your wife or your child. Get the whole family acquainted and trained with ONE pistol. Have multiples and make sure everyone knows how to use it.

Being dangerous at distance is cool but impractical. Outside of societal collapse there is little reasoning for why you would need to defend yourself at that range and if you want to hunt then most of the rifles best suited for that task are not well suited for self defense.

For the 1:1,000,000 chance you actually have to defend yourself at a distance and society HASN'T turned to mad max then just run and GTFO. Or take shelter and call the cops.

As a white dude who actually killed somebody in legal self defense in a democrat area, I will tell you that the gun you use isn't important. What is more important is having a good lawyer. My other piece of advise to not stop shooting until the target is dead. No witnesses make things much easier.
