Not true, 95% of all coins are already mined by 2025. The halving schedule is extremely drastic. This is why small block settlement network is the only way that makes sense, we need fees to start replacing the reward right now. We have no idea how much scaling will happen through centralized layers with normies that don't care about self custody and wallets, and if we preemptively make the blocks too big and empty we kill the security of the network.

Luckily we are already at 20% fees relative to reward while the big block forks are generating just a few dollars total per block. Their security won't survive another halvings, so you will see one last pump and dump before they fade to obscurity.
