Man, I used to lurk /g/ right around 2011 when btc was becoming a thing. Got it shilled to me at $20, I was 15 at the time and had $1000 saved up I was about to go in with. I pulled up the chart and it was was full blown parabolic. I called it a scam. I check a month or two later and saw it at $1 and thought to myself "heh I knew it was a scam". I'm sure every person here has a similar story but fuck me if it doesn't hurt.
