Say you've been farming the whole time and get anywhere from 50-100m locked. So we blowoff top to, say, 12c - a hell of a run but absolutely reasonable. Then we have our bear market and bear back all the way down to even a cent- pretty rough right? At 50M locked, at 95% bear correction, that's 166k/year or 456/day in releaed BAO. So yeah, I'm comfy as all hell brother.

There's no point in making bao threads until the xDai move next week, honestly. People here aren't keeping up with the project so they don't have context for the price movement it's making. There's no reason to buy BAO right now unless you're prepping a stack for the migration, and it's more likely that people are selling to offset the huge fucking gas fees it will take to harvest. But it'll be just like the start of January where they will ignore it and then fomo at the top when the price pumps again. There's lots of good stuff coming down the line, Baoswap is a smart fucking idea and setting shop in upcoming blockchains will generate a lot of income for BAO.

But really, just stop making threads until the project is marketable again. If you've been here from the start you're already in the green regardless of how hard the price fell, unless you bought more at the top or tried swinging. It's been a comfy farm but don't trick people into accidentally farming on ETH just a few days before the move.

He's planning to do this for sure. 750 block rewards vs 250 rewards for ETH mainchain. Reason being he wants to attract liquidity to xDai for BAOswap. BAOman doesnt just plan to start YET ANOTHER worthless DEX on L2 with no liquidity, he plans on incentivizing that liquidity with higher APYs than they receive even on L1 with the 0.3% swap fees. BAOswap will be a liquidity magnet.

I don't know very much about the technical side of ethereum gas, but I do know that the gas price the last 2 days on average have been much higher than usual, so I BELIEVE that means with a price so low you've seen very little progress on your transaction. Give it some time, as with a price like that (and with prices like pic related) your transaction is basically only being chipped away at in the dead of night

If you want to farm with it, you can use the omnibridge to port it over. It's like a 1 click solution and very similar to using Uniswap. No need to do anything shady like send your coins to an unknown wallet address manually and hoping you get them back.

Nah, all BAO tokens will concert 1:1 into each other upon crossing chains. The main BAO contract will forever live on ETH as far as Baoman has confirmed. It's just the farming that will be offloaded. There are other Bao projects coming to other chains like Avalanche, where he's releasing a new exchange that all BAO holders own a stake in automatically. But regardless of what chains he makes projects on, your ERC20 BAO will be worth just as much as BAO any other chains. Hell, you don't even have to move chains if you don't want to; it was always an optional migration that's only softly enforced by the reduced farm rate.
