Would they let you open a position that you did not have the funds on the exchange in your account to cover it? I am not KYC on Binance, I have to use a VPN because I from a banned state. But the options for leveraged trading are available to me. So how could they access my bank if I am not KYC. I thought you could only open positions based on your account holdings on the exchange. Or if they did have access to bank account what if they is no money in it? What do they do then. I just never heard anything beyond someone say they have been liquidated. Never heard anyone on here talking about an exchange coming after them once their position is closed by liquidation or being in actual legal financial debt to an exchange.

Well, I am not so new that I don't have a low-mid 6fig portfolio and was on btc-e and lost a lot of funds when the FBI seized it but still have well into 6 figs and spent single digits on coins people today pay thousands for. But seeing the word debt used caused a couple questions I decided to ask. So that is how 'new' I am.
