It's based off of the EGG value. Since it has a deflationary model, unlike other swap tokens, the price of an individual EGG is really high. Hence the yields are high, but they fluctuate based off of the amount of liquidity locked in and the current price of EGG. As the project gets more liquid, returns will simmer down. Every couple weeks a new pool is generated. Because the pool is new and starts with no users, the APY is meme high. As more people get in, the APY decreases like normal, and a new pool is made with high APY again. Every time you want to get in on a new pool, you burn EGG. That's what will increase the value of EGG. The degen high APY is literally how all these shit clones have suckered people in. EGG is trying to perpetually generate new high APY farms so there'll be no reason to yield farm on any other platform.
This is why the devs would be retarded to rugpull because if the incubator works, they'll be gaining a rugpull's worth of investment value every 2 weeks, making the actual product more valuable than the potential scam. It's at least worth what other farms are making, and that's a x2-5 by itself. If it becomes the only game in town, it's more like x10. Even if I skeptically consider that it might be a bitconnect tier ponzi in the end, it would have to run much longer than it has, leaving room to regularly cash out profits. The dev wallet sizes aren't as huge but the transparency and audits and lack of emergency withdrawal code in the contract worries me.
