I want to go full on being a neet and for that I am considering mining ether. Are whattomine numbers real? I live in a shithole so I doesn't need much to keep my lifestyle and if whattomine checks then the income with today's ether price is really worth the energy cost.
Plus, I have enough fiat to start with a $11/day rig (and keep upgrading it) and to live for 8 months.
Keep in mind that the cost of living here is low, but the cost of the hardware fuck us up.

Be aware that transaction amounts and/or ether price may fall, and tank your profits completely.

Don't overpay for gpu's, especially in a bull run.

Otherwise go ahead.

I plan on let it run 24/7 in a spare room that I have, so the noise won't be a problem. I was worth only 4 amazing PCs in my job fml

Thinking about buying used GPUs to start and then new ones from there. Good mining GPUs are hard to find in stores and I can get then way cheaper. I don't know if it's worth in the long run, tho.
