Probably. btc looking to shit itself for a while longer, every alt up some crazy x%. Alts not moving without being in tandem with btc. Some even dip as btc goes up. The original grt pump was due to hype and finally gaining traction as biz became aware of what it is. We probably won't see another decent pump unless btc skyrockets into 60ks or good news comes out for grt.

The year is 2035. The entire life of every human cattle is catalogued on the blockchain. Roko's Basilisk will query the GRT protocol in order to custom tailor a personal hell for each and every person.

Of course I own 10k GRT, so it will come for me last.

BTC will reach 100K this year. GRT has another good pump in it but you can probably buy in cheaper. I was a stacklet (2K) but have sold. Will buy back if it continues retreating (it probably will).

You guys can thank me for this dump; despite watching the coin since .50, I refused to FOMO because I don't like buying at ATH. Yesterday I finally caved and put an order in at $2, because I thought that would cure my FOMO but also be a low enough price in which it probably wouldn't hit for months. And imagine my surprise when it's now at 1.95 today. This one is my bad boys.

>> No.29431102

I thought basically everyone buying GRT was buying it for the long term. Why are people whining about a lack of short term pumps? I wasn't aware that anyone was seriously looking for short term pumps.

There are two sets of people. Those of us that bought at below 70 cents that are comfy and just holding for the long term although we've already made decent gains.
Then there are those that missed it when it was cheap and jumped in while it was rising. Anywhere between 0.70 and 2.80. They are late to the party and now want to turn a quick profit and get out. It's funny because if they could wait they'd realize that one day you'll wish you could find GRT this cheap.

Are you familiar with diamonds? The rare earth mineral used for jewelry that can costs 10s of thousands of dollars?
But wait, did you know that diamonds aren't actually rare at all. There the Debeer family has enough diamonds in a stockpile that if they sold them all at once diamonds would be worthless?
Total supply is a pointless metric in terms of commodities that can't be accessed. 66% of the available GRT is locked to delegation and that number is growing. The backers that will soon have their tokens unlocked are also on the record as saying they will be in delegation. 10 billion is simply the number of tokens in circulation, if only 1 billion are ever for sale then the supply is 1/10th the total. Not to mention that the real value of GRT comes from it being utilized for query fees. When they picks up, the price of the token will as well.

You'd think that the ones coming in from 0.70 to 2.80, should be the ones happy with dips and crabbing... I know I am (new to crypto, watched GRT go from .50 to .61 before I even had wallets and shit set up). I'd love if the price remains sub $2 for the next year.

>> No.29433673

>>29433229
You only think that because you're new to crypto and aren't ADHD like the rest of them. Basically if it's not doing 20% every day it's a shit coin. Ironically the shit coins are the ones that rocket like that only to crash in no time.
You've got the right idea. Just DCA with what you can and in a year you'll forget about the time we were stuck at $2. It's funny because I wasn't even expecting$2 until end of year and here we are at if it's not amazing. The token only came out in December.

>> No.29434435

>>29433673
Yeah, up until this year, I was purely a stock market investor, who thinks "short term investments" basically means "less than 3 years". Sure I'm disappointed I wasn't able to acoom sub $1 for the next 4 months, but sub $5 still sounds nice.
