Historically, PLTR is a reddit pump and dump. Hate to break it to you folks, but it is. These are the facts. People saying it isn't, you're on the wrong side of the data. The entire market is being run by trade bots. Large amounts of PLTR have been already acquired by institutions and hedge funds, way before reddit was even aware of its existence.

I estimate each share of PLTR is valued at $5 maximum until larger companies want to use it, which currently they don't, because it is too expensive too. PLTR's services are too expensive, in general, to use anyway.

With that being said, PLTR is a garbage reddit stock which means the price has to remain low for companies to even want to use it. It is just the way it is right now.

not only that but also PLTR is a good stock for people that just downloaded the Robinhood app and now they think they are expert stock traders. Most Robinhood people only buy affordable cheap stocks like this because they can't afford the big boy stocks like amazon, tesla, apple, etc. Robinhood is a great platform for uneducated people who never graduated college. Having a few shares on robinhood app gives them great satisfaction and makes them feel very important in life. They brag about it at family gatherings and think everybody is impressed.

Did you know that the average penny silver stock went up 150 times in price, when the price of silver merely doubled? Think about that for a moment. The AVERAGE penny silver stock—I'm not talking about one or two stocks here—the AVERAGE one—went up 150 TIMES—when silver merely DOUBLED. One company, Coeur d'Alene, even went up 1000x! Does this sound unbelievable to you? Well, trust me, it’s really true. It happened between 1962 and 1968, and similar things have taken place in subsequent silver bull markets. The data is common knowledge among academics, and is right there to read in Doug Casey’s 1980 classic economics book “Crisis Investing.”

Bayhorse Silver (TSXV: BHS; OTCBB: KXPLF; FSE: 7KXN) is one of the only penny silver stocks which can DEMONSTRABLY go 100x from here at $60 silver. This is on the basis of imminent production (1.3 million ounces per year) and future cash flow (cost per ounce as low as $7) at a 30x cash-flow valuation, vs present market cap, which is minuscule—only $20 million! At $60 silver, you could turn a $1000 investment into $100,000. At $1000 silver, Bayhorse might go 2000x—you could turn $1000 into $2 million!

$60 silver is obviously inevitable. But what’s more, the COMEX is going to break, imminently. 20-day deliveries of 10.4 million from 02/19/21 are the highest amount ever over the past 20 years. If that breakage happens, silver could go anywhere, from $500 to $5000. Where is the price of Bayhorse then? Don’t miss the opportunity of a lifetime in BHS! We’re still at rock bottom, and, without exaggeration, this investment might be bigger than 2010 Bitcoin.

No, Dr. Burry's Twitter posts, which i was reposting here all weekend long by the way, go more in depth on this but basically the wave of free money fresh off the printer makes stocks go boom and then when the money starts actually working it's way around the economy you get labor rises, consumer goods inflation, commodities inflation, and earnings adjustments, all of which are higher costs and start detracting from the actual value of the equity as there is no more tidal wave of fresh high valued money flowing into the market.
We have seen this in EVERY SINGLE inflation scenario. 1970-1980 was the years of the highest M2 annual growth in history, and it was also the years with the lowest growth in the market overall. Weimar stocks went 400% while the currency remained strong, then stocks did 10,000% while the currency depreciated nearly 100,000%

When the money doesnt move stocks go up, no inflation. But now we are opening up and the money is circulating, going to cause inflation. Stocks will still rise but money will love value faster. Whats the alternative then? Bitcoin? Gold/Silver? Any indicators that show if there inflation or will I just notice food prices going up? yes, I also think we will see a split between "infrastructure tech" that is integrated widely in society and "growth tech" which are more in the start up type.

A lot of technology stocks are integral infrastructure with monopolies or quasi monopolies. Or they offer just lower prices than the competitors like say netflix vs cable/satellite.

They will actually seep into the value side of things under inflation just because they are so integrated into the economy and wont be cut out.

Anyways fuck bonds

TSM is more secretive about their taiwan operations for competitive reasons, but the Arizona plant for example won't be completed until 2024, just to give you a perspective on how long it takes to build new capacity

this is why the semiconductor sector is generally cyclical. MU got fucked in the past since they may build new capacity in response to new demand, but the demand might not be there anymore after it's built. TSM doesn't have that same issue right now given how it's practically a monopoly on cutting-edge chips, but it still has the issue where it can't respond to demand ASAP

Fabless will also see some issues. Usually these have seemingly unlimited growth since they just outsource the actual production to TSM or Samsung, but the shortages are going to be a huge bottleneck. Automakers have first dibs if any new production capacity opens up because Germany or some other countries were begging Taiwan for it since the chip shortage is stalling their industry right now

I don't see the decent semi picks getting a big dip, but I'd probably sell covered calls with a bit higher delta than usual on the next green day

The thing is now the rail doesn't have capacity to transport as many other things, and the costs of transporting anything is going to go up across the board. These added costs are going to be passed along to the consumer leading to higher prices, and a lower amount of goods and services will be able to be purchased across the board. Shutting down the pipeline hurts the whole country since capital that could have been allocated to other endeavors will now have to be put into higher transportation costs, where we pay more to move less product.
