Yes, 20k should be good enough imo. Not to retire instantly but it will be life changing.
I will just use my staking rewards to buy more xcm + price will rise too. Might use a few % to buy other things that give dividend or other cryptos that give staking rewards. Use that to buy more etc etc.

That's not true. There have been massive signups and userbase continues to grow. CoinMetro first thinks about laying the foundations before building. Only reason why things are going slower than they wanted is probably because of all the bureaucracy at governments etc.

that's because you're zoomed way out
coinmetro used to have almost no volume, we're talking less than $1000 of daily volume
back then xcm was around 2 cents
now the volume is around 5-10 million and xcm is at 50 cents
due to fundamentals I don't feel like explaining the volume will continue to increase which will also increase the price of xcm

bonus point: coinmetro was the place to get prq at the ground floor, xcm and prq basically took people from 4 or 5 figure hell to 6 or 7 figures and the ride isn't done yet

They extended the QNT staking program too.
I mean yes, it's a marketing campaign but the end goal will be to give staking rewards to multiple assets not just on xcm when it has become sustainable. If they will stop it for an amount of time people will maybe move their crypto again off the exchange, so I think they will try to extent link staking too at least as long as it's possible.
