I don't understand loans or finance at all. Can I get a loan, not spend the money, and just use it to pay back the loan? I know there will probably be interest to pay but still

well, you can... you can also take out other loans to pay back to first loan. at long as the next loan is bigger you can keep getting more and more play money and basically roll loans forever until you die.

yes, but if the goal is an airtight credit score just get a no-annual-fee credit card, use it to buy your groceries and pay it off every month. been doing this for 15 years now my credit score is 780.
