It actually has ongoing support from the creator and interested parties looking to further the coin and grow a community.

Look at the other multitude of altcoins getting released, they all come with nothing or rather, claim to come with something but it's usually nothing.

>> No.293234

If you prefer mining doge but can't be bothered with selecting profitable coins, check out http://multi.pandapool.info (yes it supports doge as well).
As for pnd - it is still a coin normal people can have any type of noticeable effect in. The issue with it is that besides the initial joke it has also formed a community around it that now seems to be determined to support the coin. As long as those exist I'm personally willing to do the same as simply dropping it at this point is not an option so you active dev support, unlike most other altcoins.
A few things that keeps people going are the multipool we're having (not many altcoins have one), the decision between either merged mining with doge or implementation of proof-of-stake and some guy that seems to be experienced in terms of marketing in the queue (we'll see how that works out).

Anyone know why Doge jumped from 90 Satoshis to 130?

BTC prices did not jump anything specific.

The only reasoning I have is that people dumped their Blackcoins and bought back into Doge.

This is all a guess, but why did Doge get a 30% bump when it's been on a steady decline for the past several months?

BTC had a recovery from below 400 on the same day. It was the 15th, the date of the most recently alleged Chinese crypto moratorium, and I guess when BTC didn't die that day it restored some confidence.

Maybe I'll exchange some DOGE for PND, too.

>>293904
I have a 50 and a 300. The 50 feels like it's a bit too tele (but not enough) for me on a crop body. Because the Tokina extends to 28, I figure I can use it as a normal lens, seeing as it's an equivalent to 42mm on full frame. Also, I've never used anything wider than a 28mm equiv., so I figure it'll be quite fun to play around with.

I'm done doing some backend stuff, and the functionality needed for live demo (so you can have a dashboard without registering, saved into a cookie). It's not live yet, tho. I'm too tired to deploy it to live, afraid of fucking something up.

shit's currently massively hitting the fan over there in /r/dogecoin.

people are waking up, realizing that the aggressive optimism was actually achieved by censoring

>> No.294820

>>294816

i remember PND threads being on a similar boat

even the slightest criticism would be shunned as part of wolong and shit, noone wold even take constructive criticism till the whole thing crashed

perhaps a blessing in disguise since the community is willing to improve on existing criticism

>> No.294829

>>294820

dogecoin really seemed stuck as the censorship of CONSTRUCTIVE criticism got out of hand.

I hope there will be at least some change.
it's disgusting how people get pissed because of the lack of funny and cute pictures when others state concern about important things and/or important comments just get removed because they're not optimistic enough.

just join the multipool, you would basically be pushing pnd value up whilst getting PND

or simply join the official pool, instructions are just laid out there?

I know a lot more profitable places than this multipool, but they are more profitable like 2/3 of the time, I guess I will be using this multipool during that 1/3.

I was thinking about solomining because difficulty was too low and it was better to mine PND directly than using multipool, well not anymore. So nevermind. Also solomining is fun.

954 litecoins of PND wouldh ave to be purchased at 12 dollars a LTC to raise the price of PND to 500 litoshis.

People with money are interested in investing in PoS coins while no one wants another shitcoin with 100 billion coins.

how much did you expect to make? bc was like 500 satoshi a few weeks ago, now it's 50k. at it's absolute peak it was what, 90k? for about 20 minutes? even if it did rocket back up there, it'd have less than doubled your investment. it's not gonna increase ten-fold again, that's for damn sure.

Can I ask how much?

The basic rule for trding is: buy low, sell high. If you've lost a train, you've lost it. There are plenty of opportunities around.

But why did you sell low, tho?
If trading is not your thing, you might be interested in mid or long-term investing. PND is your thing then.

You need a plan, and stick to it.

Right now I think you should sell your BC for an amount that will let you recover your losses. If that's unrealistic, sell at profit from the 2nd batch. Like 10%.

I already hear you say that the next peak will be much more than 10%. But nobody can know that. You need a compromise, and to settle with that you can realistically get. Unless you've got insider knowledge of couse; but none of us has that, I think.
