Why should I believe /biz/ is any different?

If /pol/ didn't open your eyes then /biz/ definitely won't make you money.

/fit/ is where it's at.

My only regret is not following the crypto shills on biz earlier.

Take any investing and finance advice here with a grain of salt. Most of these kids are NEETs and college kids playing around with $100-$1000 in crypto.

Crypto should be a small part of your portfolio if you choose to speculate on it. Like less than 10% of your portfolio. Most of the coins shilled here are scams. Stick to things in the top 10 coins by market cap. Crypto can give crazy returns, but its speculation. The biggest rule of successful investment is to protect your principle.

As far as general finance and investing knowledge goes, /biz/'s book recommendations is great. Mostly because it was compiled before this board went to shit. I'd recommend The Richest Man in Babylon if you know absolutely nothing about money.

that board was a mistake

His labor theory of value is a joke, and without that Communism falls flat on its face. Das Kapital is primarily an analysis of Capitalism, and not necessarily 'wrong'. Maybe outdated and very biased. Kind of a shit choice for a /biz/ book recommendation I agree.

Sticky is good, rest is trash
>/pol/
The definition of rare gems amongst shit. If you have the patience and desire to seek them it's the board that he the most to offer, otherwise it's a complete waste of time if you can't be fucked making the effort
>/r9k/
No, it is supposed to be a creative hub hut it turned into the bottom of the barrel. You know you've hit rock bottom when even /mlp/ look down on you
>/fa/ & /his/
You're right about those two
>/biz/
Like /pol/, you have to be willing to sift through the mass of shit, and then DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH. I made a shit load of money off QLT NMR and PTOY because of anons who posted a well thought out posts early about them long before they hit exchanges. I then did my own research and it was easy money.
