PLTR is a good stock for people that just downloaded the Robinhood app and now they think they are expert stock traders. Most Robinhood people only buy affordable cheap stocks like this because they can't afford the big boy stocks like amazon, tesla, apple, etc. Robinhood is a great platform for uneducated people who never graduated college. what is your job? how much do you make a year? the key for me was that i put $30k in my account to start with and slowly worked that up to 50k in my first year, and then this year GME happened and i went up to 100k and then tried to re-enter GME like a retard and now im at 75-80k (we've been having some red days so closer to 75k currently). i dont put more money in.

even if the market crashes and i lose everything in my brokerage account it's not a big deal because i have a job and im only 30 years old. now is the time to be taking risks (why i've made so much so quickly). you don't want to be taking risks when you're old and near the end of when you can work. on top of that if another march-style crash happens (and you'll know if you understand the VIX and see it ever cross the 80 threshold), THEN i would put more money in to buy the bottom of SOXL. but otherwise even if i for some reason lost all of my money in my brokerage account i wouldn't be living in a cardboard box, because i have a fucking job.

You need to phrase this in a less dramatic way or else people will get scared off from options.

What this guy is trying to get at is that the whole point of options is that you get asymmetric returns with high volatility, that is part of the whole purpose of options. That high vol / asymmetric returns comes from a high momentum day with a lot of velocity for the share price action. This manifests as a very steep slope up and to the right for options. The more momentum/velocity your play has, the better time it is for you to sell, since you have liquidity from retail pouring in as well at that time.
