I make 40k a year in a big city, but after student loans, taxes, insurance, rent, bills; im barely living paycheck to paycheck

I just dont understand why 99% of the population is expected to live in wage slavery for their entire life, just to make the 1% a profit.

Im technically "making money" at my job, that pays well, but living paycheck to paycheck only ensures i have the bare minimum to keep living and >>WORKING<<

Capitalism is a scam, I didnt sign up for this
