You can get more gains quicker with cheaper coins. For example, for $400 you can get 8000 of a 5 cent coin. A single cent increase is multiplied by your 8000 coins for a gain of $80. A big coin going for say, 50 grand, you'd purchase 0.008 of that coin. Gains on that will be very slow and tiny for your $400 investment. A value increase of $1000 would have you gain significantly less than the cheap coin.
