The only safe margin is no margin, but if you absolutely must, stick to 5x at most, and only after buying on a scamwick like this. Any other time, 2x is the only way to go...and even then, your chance at being liquidated due to some outlier 50% dump is likely.

The exchanges have the data, and they feed it into the big jew money whale neural networks that are used to predict norman retail trader behavior and scam them for every dollar possible. Fact.

Here's the real protip, stop losses are a good thing but they are public.

What you should do is only keep an amount of margin that you are willing to lose in your futures account. Then use high leverage and cross margin on a small amount of the money (such that where you want to stop loss becomes the same as your liquidation price, you can calculate this based on leverage and margin and find out how much of each you want to use).

Then for multiple trades just use multiple sub accounts each with their own margin, that's how I do it.
