Regarding findbullionprices.com
They're linked in every one of the /pmg/ threads. However they suck because they list items that are OUT OF STOCK. Maybe it's not something they've ever had to deal with before, but these are tricky times we're buying in and they need to keep up. Right now as a resource they're useless for this reason.

Someone asked last thread which credit card allows 3% back for online purchases, which allows you to use credit card on bullion and basically get back most if not all the markup they charge. The card I use is a Bank Of America Visa. I just got a new Mastercard from them w/o cash back at all, but it has 12 months 0 interest balance transfers. The Visa I have from them allows you to choose 3% back on all online purchases though, great for buying bullion w/o having to wait for payment to clear.

Inb4 COMEX shill. You can buy as much silver as you want

Chart depicts crustal abundance on LOGARITHMIC scale
Rarity + a decent number of applications = GUARANTEED GAINS no matter current price

>Yellow/PGEs are top-tier
>Blue/REMs are expensive because of low recyclability. However, new tech could ameliorate this like how Aluminum became dirt cheap to extract
>Red industrial metals are okay for owning stonks

PHYSICAL TIER LIST V4
>S
- Iridium - 2nd rarest, relatively low price, 2x last 2 years, still discovering uses
- Rhodium - automobiles, 10x last 2 years; however may be lower in future as cars become electric
>A
- Osmium - rarest, 1/3 the cost of Iridium, still discovering uses
- Rhenium - automobiles, aerospace, reasonably low price
- Ruthenium - electronics, aerospace, & medicine
- Silver - low cost, incoming COMEX default pump, many applications, widespread use
>B
- Gold - ultimate store of wealth, eternal, stable value
- REMs - rare because of low recyclability, good but few applications
>C
- Platinum - GOING UP!
- Palladium - volatile price yet minimal gains
- Indium - equal rarity to silver, electronics
>D
- Mercury - hard to get acquire/hold, fewer applications due to toxicity

For a Britbong that just wants to stack metal rather than collecting rare coins, should I just be buying 2021 Britannias? Since they're readily available in the UK, can be brought in brand new condition, and have the new security features to avoid fakes? Or would there still be some value in getting more special things?
Also why don't the other 2021 Royal Mint things have the same security features? Why is it only Britannia?

C-Products is making those AR10 mags in stainless now, on top of their 556 stainless and aluminum. I've not read any reviews on them yet though as I don't own an AR10. My 308 rounders come from Germany and Russia. Well, the German is an American made clone that's still a helluva deal if you can deal with the crap ergonomics.
Whatever you do, don't get promags and I stay away from all plastic.

Silver and gold are money. Have been for thousands of years. The only component that is speculative is silver because the ratio of gold/silver (70) is at a historic high to its historical mean of 20-40. This is largely because of an active, long running, and ongoing scheme to suppress the value of silver in fiat terms in futures markets.
If that was ever squared away then the fluctuations in gold/silver price would be reflected really as a debasement of fiat currencies which has not been tracking as well. So gold and silver are undervalued ("cheap") relative to fiat supply and silver is cheap relative to gold.
Gold and silver are "0% yield" assets which also require care to protect if in large quantities. Thus, the only reason to go in them is when there is declining faith in the ability of central banks not to debase their currencies and when "safe" investment vehicles (right now, 10 yr US treasury bonds) have negative yields in real terms.
They are also good at tail risk. They have historically been what you want to hold when your country is collapsing. Either as a means to hold your wealth into a new reset of the local economic system or as a means to reallocate your wealth to a new country entirely. It is "tail risk" insurance.
It is frustrating that PMs and crypto are seen as competitors. You buy crypto as a speculative investment. You buy PMs to "secure" your wealth. Crypto rises and falls generally with the stock market. PMs tend to rise and fall inversely with treasury bond yields.

Bitcoin has been very good for gold, silver, libertainians and austrian economists.

A whole group of libertarians that believed in bitcoin early got bank rolled with billions. Millions of people though bitcoin are being educated about the evils of fiat currency and the banking system. Schiff is not helping anyone with his blind, bitcoin hatred. Bitcoin, gold and silver stand together against the same enemy yet people on both sides would rather bicker about which one is better.

Early BTC very much had a "fuck the system" mentality. Whatever the new crowd is they aren't in it except for "green line go up". BTC is actually now PART of the system since that asset bubble is going to be encouraged since they can track and then tax every transaction that a person has on the ledger.
Most new BTC "HODLers" don't even know what or why you might want a cold wallet. And that is especially true of the institutions going into it.

No, it isn't "cope," you sad zoomer, it's reality. The average Christian is not a "real" Christian because they do not follow or believe in any tenants of Christianity. The average Hew isn't a "real" Jew because they do not believe in or follow any tenants of Judaism. This isn't hard to understand, but you trying to twist it around to make it seem like the modern, materialist atheist "Jews" and "Christians" are the "real" thing is just sad.

The modern individual in the west is far, far closer to a materialistic atheist than they are to any spiritual theist. Christians, Jews, and Muslims included. The issue is: the "moderates" give the true believers a smokescreen to hide behind because smoothbrains can't tell the difference.

Came back from my LCS, i discussed a bit with the shop owner and i'll give you the QRD. For most of us it's not new infos, but i thought it still would be interesting to share it anyway since it's coming straight from the horse's mouth :

- shops are desperate for customers to sell their gold & silver, especially silver, the mints preorders are bloated as all fuck and the best way for them to get their hand on stuff is to hope for ppl to sell their coins
- they too get ripped by premiums, spot is all an illusion when it come to getting your hand on real stuff, even the 1000oz bar have a +$2 premium per oz on them, which is what will eventually push for comex customers to ask for delivery. The shop usually buy their 1oz coins/5oz/10oz/etc bars for minimum +$3/oz over spot from assayers and mint, and sell it for +$5/oz.
- They also buy for +$2.20 over spot from customers, so for them it's more interesting since they prop up a bit their margin
- They have always more requests - on a daily basis now - from ppl who want to convert their crypto gains into physical, mostly gold since it's often big money. The important point is these guys want to go crypto > PMs instead of crypto > fiat >PMs, obviously to dodge the taxman
- another kind of ppl who want to cash in some of their gains are guys who sold TCG collectibles, like MTG or pokemon, who recently spiked alongside shitcoins.
- situation isn't expected to get any better soon, and if the comex end up refusing to deliver (since they wont ever admit they are defaulting, especially since it can land them in jail, but it's the exact same thing) we can expect the premiums to go crazy damn high, like, price discovery high, either it be for selling or purchasing, and when it will happen we'll be bombarded with ads on TV to sell your silver, most likely will be targeting grampa & grandmat's set of silver spoon who have no clues about what's currently happening.

yeah basically. I'm not saying to avoid BTC and actually hold it by proxy in my Roth IRA, as well as own it for real in a full node wallet. I will say that I've known since the beginning of my involvement ca. 2010 that BTC is highly suspect vs. gold, if for no other reason than its complete lack of privacy.

well yeah. the shoe shiners are on tiktok telling people how easy it is to make money in stocks: buy it, wait for it to rise, and sell it when it stops rising. little do they know that their cost basis is too high to turn a real profit after getting raped by short-term cap gains tax. which they probably forget about until they spend all their gains on trinkets and get like a $10k tax bill from uncle sam. this whole market is completely fucked clown world style. needless to say, I'm wary of anything that doesn't just sit there in my possession, doing absolutely nothing.

If Elon bought silver it wouldn't be for us.
He would be doing it for himself.
He would be securing a strategic asset for the future of his company.
He already expressed concern about inflation in his filing for his bitcoin purchase.
He is looking for places to park his treasury that are inflation proof.
Silver is traditional for this so you know he has his eye on it.
While at the same time he is one of the top consumers of it in the world.
So he is uniquely positioned to benefit from a move he might have taken anyway.
I guarantee you the only reason he is so quiet about it is because he is trying to quietly build his position right now.

can confirm the other anon's exp. the guys at the LCS were clearly under a bit of stress and had like 10 calls during the 20 minutes I was there. in addition to the random retards wandering in demanding "gold" in engrish.

they had a single sovereign in stock, which is basically the most common coin ever: worrying. they also took 10% off my foreign cash and demanded a 20% premium on the sovereign, which is unheard of.

I thought I was just getting kiked hardcore but it was a stern, fair deal. total cost to me was US$182 for the sovereign + some random foreign money I'd forgotten about for 3+ years so it worked out okay. also considering the minimum exchange premium would be at least 20% just to get more fiat.

definitely shit times all around in the PM's market.

Find a local shop and support them. Fuck those kikes at JM help out a local and keep money away from big institutions. Been dealing with my guy for a while and he sells me silver at very fair rates. I'm averaging $30 a oz this month.

No, buy more cryto and Oz's before it collapses, no point switching between the two, they hedge each other nicely. Have both.

If you don't have any silver, lol, yes. Or gold, preferably both.

This is untrue. Even if it were true, every country would not nationalize all at once. This is why you need jurisdictional diversification in your mining portfolio. Between my holdings and watch list, I own or have researched miners in nine different countries, and there are assuredly at least two more countries which are home to PM mining companies that I could explore. It’s unlikely every nation would nationalize at exactly the same time, so if it happens, I just move my money from the affect miner to another jurisdiction.

I'ma buy some Krugs or whatever else coin-wise is priced same as rounds here in a couple of days. If you can get your native Brits as cheap as any other coins, and as cheap as rounds, then go for it. I don't care about numistatics either, just give me the metal. coins for the same price is just a little free bonus.
