Just trying to get into it and looking for trading platforms but it's pretty hard to cut through the noise and find decent info. Binance? Coinbase? Kraken? I'm just looking to dip my toe in and experiment a little this weekend. What do you use /biz/? What platforms have the most utility? Most coins available? Lowest fees? Which ones let you trade fiat? Shit is not welcoming to beginners lol. At least, not welcoming in that it's a steep learning curve. The crypto community seems extremely welcoming in that newfags and gullible suckers are the gas that keeps the crypto market engine running. Success in crypto depends on the mistakes of others, right? So help me make some mistakes

I don't use CEXs, but you should start with Coinbase if you want to do money transfers in. Binance for shitcoins after, Coinbase Pro if you want to trade back and forth between their two sides, and get yourself a wallet which isn't on an exchange (assuming you want to purchase a lot).

Back in the day I didn't even have the balls to make a thread like yours because I know the /biz/ boys would fucking obliterate me for being new. I googled it later myself.
You're pretty brave, kid.

I'd rather try and ultimately get trolled by anon dicks on /biz/ than lose a bunch of money finding a decent crypto trader through trial and error alone

You think I should have multiple different ones? Does Binance and Uniswap have coins coinmetro and kraken don't?

yes

Yes, actual good projects with a good team, bright future, etc get listed on proper exchanges, which are the likes of Kraken, CoinMetro and Coinbase
I don't like Coinbase because they're expensive

Binance and Uniswap trade more tokens, also all sorts of scam tokes, Uniswap is a wild west and Binance gets paid for listings

And yes it's always good to be signed up with multiple exchanges, if one goes down you can go to another one
Also just check which one you like best and make it your main
