>fuds and shills fuck off

I really don't get it, /biz/.
Today I decided to rebalance my shitty ETH20 portfolio. I had no ETH for gas fees, and the closest place I had extra funds was on the same wallet, but on the BSC. After some research, I found this stupid fucking exchange that has been riling this retarded board up for weeks.
Shit just worked, which is surprising given how broken the crypto world is in general. I swapped my shitcoins over and did my business.
What's the deal with this coin? Why is it so polarizing? Is it undervalued? Overvalued? Why is it loved/hated so much? Is a cross-chain swap less of a big deal than I'm making it out to be?
Please enlighten me.

It's got high potential but was pumped off nothing but hype.
It's most likely a long term safe hold as the team is working on a lot of good stuff that you can find on their roadmap.
If they deliver $10 eoy is not impossible, that would put it at 1bil mc.
Next big mile stone is limit orders on the 25th.

It's a long term safe hold that got pump and dumped by people that didn't know it's value and it currently exists in a ponzi scheme bear market where every memetoken on the internet is reaching 10x in the span of 48 hours. It's a safe buy with almost guaranteed profits, but in the current market it's probably the worst buy you could make if you're a coked out gambler like 99% of this board is. Go buy bitcoin or goodboi or wynaut or whatever the dogshit meme coin of the week is. Come back in a week or so when you have 5x as much cash from your meme stocks and buy in when it's still being fudded down to 0.25~.

When you put ETH/RBC or any pair up for liquidity on uniswap, you collect a % of the fees when people buy/sell into your pool.

RBC also giving people +20% back in whatever they put into the pool if they hold from early Feb - May, so I'm holding for awhile.

>What's the deal with this coin? Why is it so polarizing? Is it undervalued? Overvalued? Why is it loved/hated so much? Is a cross-chain swap less of a big deal than I'm making it out to be?

It's EXTREMELY undervalued. However it's also in stealth mode right now, hence the tiny market cap. Basically their only marketing so far has been an AMA on /biz/. Plebbit and normies are currently unaware of its existence and as of a couple weeks ago 55+% of the entire market cap was owned by bizraelis, so it quite literally was/is /ourcoin/. It's also not often you find an all-white fully doxxed team with an already working product, so a lot of people were excited about it. It gets compared to LINK a lot because a lot of the same social vibes are there in terms of memes and early fud, even though the project is fundamentally different.

There was some extreme initial exuberance that pumped it from like 2 cents to 80 cents over the course of 2 weeks, a lot of people FOMOed in and are salty after the correction.
The fud on this has been extremely bizarre. Of course you get the ironic, made up satirical/funny fud (funnies fud since LINK actually) such as stories about Indians farting on a livestream, but there has also been some legitimate malicious things such as people photoshopping fake discord conversations, shooping fiverr pages, etc.

In terms of fundamentals its an extremely strong buy and hold. Limit orders (actual true limit orders, not a gay order book) are coming on the 25th and as far as I know this will be the first time a DEX has done this. L2 should help more with gas fees and will be late Q1/early Q2. Crosschain swaps you have already seen. UI redesign and Anonymizer are coming soon as well. Assuming the team delivers I cannot imagine a universe where it remains at 26 million market cap.

It will likely be a long term hold. Anything could happen but I very much doubt it will be doing 4x's in a day again.

Not for swaps between Ethereum, Binance and Matic chains. The point of Rubic is to become an universal exchange that interconnects all the blockchains and uses whatever platforms and tools are available to do so. Weather it be 1nch's agregators, chainlink oracles, uniswap liquidity, Matic's L2 solution, etc..
>>29197631
From what I've read the token will be used as a transaction tax mechanism when doing crosschain swaps, so you'll pay a fee in RBC instead of ETH, or BSC when moving them across blockchains. Not to mention the developer fund to make any of this possible and staking on top of that.
