I think a lot of people are seriously underestimating what is about to happen with Arbitrum Rollups and Ethereum.

The market has spoken: cheap, fast transactions outweigh decentralization...until they don't. When those transactions start losing people money en masse, people are going to look for safety. There are many L2s popping up promising just that: a secure L2 environment to build on. They're directly competing with Ethereum.

Arbitrum plugs into Ethereum.

It's like everyone forgot! This puppy is about to give the market the answer it was looking for: cheap, fast AND decentralized, plugged right into your Eth dapp. No need to reinvent the wheel. No need to settle for CZ copy paste bags. Cheap transactions don't need to be chain wide, they need to plug into dapps in a way that is as painless as possible for the end user. No bridging, no binance shutting down when it's (in)convenient. Good old Ethereum.

Arbitrum is right around the corner, don't forget. And don't forget who is using them first.

It has taken forever. It is late. But when Uniswap can say, hey, we also have transactions that are about as cheap as BSC and the projects are the real thing like you're used to..

remember like last year when boomer ed said "real soon check your social media" but what he didn't tell you, being a stupid boomer with technology, is that they lost the password to the social media account but refuse to make a new one because "it wouldn't be the same"

These faggots have been saying it's right around the corner for over a year. It's vapourware garbage. Rollups are a complete fucking meme.

Absolutely loving how it's gone completely stealth mode with every retard not realizing how close it is.

They’re now saying in discord that they *hope* to launch at some point in March. I think people don’t care because it literally doesn’t matter until it’s released and working. The beginning of March is still over a week away, there’s plenty of time to be making money on bsc scams still.

>> No.29189643

There are several projects months 2+ months into Arbitrum test net. You've probably heard of a few of them, but have you connected the dots?

Oh fuck off. Watch March roll by and then the story will change to "late March hehe" and then "early April hehe" and you get the picture. Off Chain Labs has been a complete joke. Lots of big promises, but they've never actually delivered on anything.

Name a big project in the space always hitting deadlines 100%? Who hasn't been late at this point?

>> No.29190177

>>29189748
Their testnet is live. I’d say that counts as delivering something. I’m frustrated too though, definitely thought this shit would have been out late last year. The wait is excruciating.

I’ve been hurt so many times before

>> No.29190593

>>29189907
I can't. Because pretty much no one ever delivers anything in crypto, it's all big promises and dreams. It's why no one outside of this space takes crypto seriously, the amount of bullshit that goes on is unbelievable. I really, really want to see Arbitrum be released and do what they're claiming it's going to do, but at some point you have to be aware of when you're being bullshitted.

Ok well lot's of people disagree, and many of those disagree with fat stocks of money backing it up.

Arbitrum works a lot like The Graph: a plug and play way to make your dapp have L2 side chain capability. It's completely unlike these chain based L2 solutions in that any dapp already on Ethereum can plug into it instead of having to migrate to a new chain.
