Any answer besides anime is from newfags exclusively.

But for degenerate gambling vibes to get you in tune for the adrenaline rush of alts bloodbaths:

Kakegurui or Kaiji are both good

But actually comfy shows are Mushishi, Girls Last Tour, Kino’s Journey, Hands off Eizoken and plenty more. Only normie movies good related to finance are Margin Call and The Big Short, everything else focuses way too much on made up drama bullshit

You should both watch some Terrence Malick movies if you dig the dream-like state vibes. Some of his movies will change your outlook on life though. Dude spent time translating Heidegger and teaching philosophy at MIT and Harvard before getting into a fight with his mentor at Oxford and dropping out of academia totally to make moves. Thin Red Line, Badlands etc are good but Tree of Life is his magnum opus

Badlands and Days of Heaven are both good. Tree of Life is comfy but also if you really watch it, will kind of be upsetting a little bit. So I’d say go for that for a real unique experience. Like not in a manner where you do or don’t like what happens in the movie but in how the movie makes you see your own life and in the context of the universe. Never seen anything like it; 2001 Space Odyssey seemed like a Saturday morning cartoon in comparison. Even the music section is like a scene on scene argument happening between philosophical titans (This Spake Zarathustra in 2001 with Kubrick (a call back to Nietzsche) vs Lacrimosa by Malick a direct confrontation with the void that the death of god would imply etc

when I want comfy I usually get what I have already watched because:
1-No surprises
2-No disapointment
3-No need to pay attention and you can let your mind wander just hearing the comfy sound of the movie because you already know the story.
When you want to go comfy, this is the best way.

a lot of people don't understand this or refuse to accept this about MKultra programming
if you do not subject yourself to it you are still subject to it via everybody else consuming it
there is a point where the programming reaches critical mass and you either see what's going on (because they blatantly show you the plan in all the movies/tv you watch) or you choose to remain in the dark and wonder why things are going the way they are
tv and movies are the easiest way to predict how people are going to act in the coming years, they literally show you the hand they're playing with if you're keen enough to notice
it's like a stupid game to them "haha we're showing you but you're too dumb to figure it out"
