I'm not sure how anyone who's actually researched this coin could care even the slightest about single-percent price movements. This coin solves the trilemma. If you don't know what that means or how this coin achieves that (byzantine agreements and verifiable random functions among other things) you should really just exit your position. ALGO is technologically superior to all the major crypto in the market today (most of which are based on the completely antiquated proof-of-work protocol--e.g BTC and ETH) and seeks to actually bring crypto into the mainstream--the real mainstream, the real world, not just viral shitposts in the twittersphere. The value of a coin, when it absolutely comes down to it, is its technology. Not how many PnD shills it has on twitter. Not how many colorful wojaks unhung swingies post on this Liechtensteinian downhill skiing forum. Technology. Reasearch and understand it, or get the hell out.

I fully believe it has the possibility of overtaking BTC. Its intrinsic value is already greater than BTCs and will only increase as more and more applications are built on top of the network. It will take time for the extrinsic value to catch up of course (years) but it's inevitable. We're talking about the equivalent of investing in AMZN or GOOG 20 years ago. If you understood what those companies were doing, it was a no-brainer investment.

Watch the beginning of this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UrJTxJdkW_8&ab_channel=Algorand

And the entirety of this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NykZ-ZSKkxM

Even disregarding that the creator is a Turing award winner (which is more prestigious than even the Nobel Prize), if you know anything at all about how crypto works, you can see that this is a huge breakthrough. He literally solved the trilemma.

Friendly reminder that the world's first national digital currency, the Marshallese Sovereign, is being built on Algorand's blockchain. Many stablecoins (Tether, USDC, etc.) have migrated to Algorand. Quite literally, you're going to see a future in which national digital currencies become a thing, and all of them along with stablecoins are all going to be built on Algorand's blockchain. Everyone will have an Algorand wallet preinstalled on their phones. And transactions will be paid online or at the register with this wallet.

If you want to invest in a coin that's going to revolution global commerce for decades to come, this is the one.
